Sun Visors

Post by johngosnell »

Some of you may remember that I had asked about the chrome edging that were fitted to the Jag MK2 cars, anyway thanks to our friends on eBay I have acquired and fitted a couple to my visors. I know that they are Not original but they just finish off the visor. See attached Pics

John the look a lot deeper than mine which are 14 cm or about 5.5 inches deep. What depth are yours?

Although I had to make them myself they should be close to the original. There was no frame but the cover was in place so I had to make a body to stiffen up the visor and the shape of the visor was taken from the original covers, but I will go and measure and come with the dimensions.

Edit, Just measured visors and they are 6"inches deep at the widest which is the same as an old pair of visors that I have but they are from the MK2

Not too far apart then it is possibly the angle the photo has been taken which makes them look deeper. I looked at them and thought at 6'2 tall I would only be able to see the top of the bonnet and not the road.lol.
