Love the colour but it does not look as though it has ever been driven!

Actually if you take a close look at the rather murky underbody shots I would say it has seen a bit of fair day use. It's not trailer queen clean & unused. Driver's seat leather needs some food. Clouts & discolouration of exhaust etc. New transmission work vs. the rest. It's certainly well looked after.

Yes, great colour. :D

Though you'd think that if your business was selling expensive classic cars, you'd invest a few $ in a decent camera/phone!

Of course it's a great colour :D Always looked good on S Types.

Yes~ it's amazing that people in the trade so often show awful & mushy pics.

I always think those aluminium radiators look tacky.

The guy that "restored" this S Type is supposed to be great at what he does, according to his own write ups I think. A couple of things that I have noticed looking closer at the pictures are,
That alloy radiator? If its restored why not an original radiator?
What has he done to the air box?
The Auto Gearbox does not appear to have a bell housing? You can see the flywheel and the red Torque converter. Is it the original gearbox?
Lastly if it was a proper restoration surely the underside of the car should be the same colour as the top of the car not hidden under a swath of black underseal?
Just my opinion.

I don't think that gearbox came with the car from the the factory as the speedo take off is a transducer and the propshaft looks aftermarket. The radiator looks like one of the cheap Chinese items. If I was paying $50k I'd want something a lot better.

Reinwald is not the current owner. The current owner has fitted the GM T700 4 speed/overdrive transmission.

"Restored" is an overused term. Somewhat renovated is closer to the truth with many cars.
