Lucas 700 European Headlights for S type. These came off a Swedish S type.

Giant bulbs inside. These are beautiful lamps.

does anyone have any info on these?

What are you asking for these lamps?

I'm planning on using them in my XJ-6, wasn't selling them. I love them and the bulbs are still available, see picture below.

same for a set of S type Fog Rangers, they are so rare I'm not sure of selling them either.

Those are P45T bulbs in 45/40 Watts. In Europe we replace them with these halogen 60/55 Watts.

I have collected 4 fog lights , 3 working sealed beams, I'm planning to modify the burned one to take a H4 Halogen bulb. Keep you all posted if I succeed.

thank you for the information, I was wondering how bright they are, and obviously 45/40 watts is not bright enough for me, I like a lot of light at night.

do you have experience with these Lucas 700 European headlamps?

I need to test the Fog Rangers, have not done it yet, they are sealed beams too.

wow, now we are talking Light !! I wonder if I can get those in the USA?? Or will I have to order from Netherlands?

do you think the high power draw could cause any problem with the factory wiring in the S type or the XJ-6 ?

thanks again.

I don't know the availability in the US, and I would use a solenoid close to the bulb.
