how I fixed wrinkled Ambla-Hardura in Boot

Post by Jose »

when I purchased my S type I started fixing things.
In the boot, the inside covering behind the rear seat wall was all wrinkled and collapsing. A poor factory gluing job if not an unfinished upholstery job.

So I copied the way it is done in the Series 3 XJ-6,. which happens to be an almost identical boot as the S type, except the same wall covering is done with a solid chipboard "sandwich".

The pictures tell the story.
