Never use full Synthetic oil in these old engine, way to thin! And you will have more change of engine leaks, the old seals are not used to that kind of oil. Just use any 20W50 mineral oil, brand does not really matter. These old engine engine do not mind all those modern specs, they did not even ex...

Hello, About the gear indicator, I managed to get a ( P,R,N,D2,D1,L) plate ( used on early E-type Auto, with column shift) John's car also provides a new metal plate for the locks in the shifter, All looks OK, but still working to get the right gear on the box versus the Shifter. Actually the paint is getting a bit cracky.
Next plan for next your is a paint job, if I find the time.
Will lookup the pictures from thr Gearbox conversion.
