Thanks Rob, I haven't tried it on the road yet as it's been tipping down with rain here all day but its all bled and ready to go. It wasn't the easest of jobs and I can confirm Bandaids are useless to stem the blood flow! I'll keep an eye on everything looking for leaks.

Well done Nigel you must have smaller hands than me to do it with the radiator in place. As for the fluid leak it is a process of elimination and you have now eliminated the servo. With mine I saw the fluid dripping off the nose of the servo but I never checked the diaphragm once removed as the new one works perfectly and I have not lost any fluid since. Can't be too many places the fluid leaks from.

Pulled out the servo today and fitted the new uprated one from SNG. Managed to do it without removing the rad (flushing that can wait for another day) used Robs suggestion of not doing up the bolts till the pipes were in place. Pulled the lid off the old servo to see where the fluid was going but to my surprise it was bone dry and the diaphragm was in perfect condition so still a mystery where three bottles of brake fluid have have gone over the last year.

I would still take the opportunity to pull the rad and flush the engine. Pulling the rad does make the servo job so much easier and with no shroud or fan it would be a doddle to get the rad out of the hole.

Thanks for the tips Rob, I had a look at the archived posts. Fortunately I don't have a fan on the pump as I've a Kenlow on the front and no shroud on the back to worry about. Just hopping I don't have to take the rad out as I've done it before without removing it but can't remember how as it was some time back. I'll post back when the cuts heal up on how I get on, I should have the Frogeye out of the gararge by the weekend so will tackle it then.

Good luck with fitting it. I found it an awkward job as I said in the archive form link. Had to take the radiator out to give me room to get to it and to reconnect the brake pipes afterwards. My top tip on this is do not tighten the new servo up until you have connected all the brake pipes as I found mine just would not quite align. I had to loosen the servo and "jiggle it about" (technical term) to get the connections in then tightened it up. Don't forget the cardboard behind the radiator as well so you don't damage the fins on the fan blades as you pull it out and put it back in. The fiddlest bit was getting the fan cowling back on with the radiator in place and the engine fan on. Whilst the radiator is out of the car you might want to flush the engine and radiator out and contemplate fitting a new water pump as the old one will be clogged up with silt.

Nigel I am sure I bought mine from SNG but I can't find the receipt. They could have supplied me with an original servo, part exchange or a replacement upgraded servo brand new, For some reason the new upgrade servo was cheaper so it was a no brainer to upgrade. The original part number is C19612.
