Yes, that is sad. Hopefully people will step forward to salvage the three that look salvageable.
The accident-damaged car appears to be the one in this topic: http://jagstyperegister.com/forum_new/v ... slow#p2325.

Yes, that one is the one Garret Borque had the accident in. He is doing well and his latest email to me follows.
I know he will welcome any input.
Cheers,
David
Hello David,
How are you? Do I recall that you recently moved to the Carolinas? I hope that is going well for you. I have been busy in my shop. I have completed taking apart my accident victim S-Type. It will be filled with scrap metal and hauled away this afternoon.
Having said that, I still have my first S-Type, which was a RHD 3.4 automatic car originally. I bought the car in Colorado originally and took it off the road in 2003, when I got the accident victim car on the road for the first time. The 3.4 car has a manual trans tunnel welded into it and it is sitting on rebuilt suspension front and rear. I have a 3.8 engine and a 4 synchro transmission that I plan to use with it.
I have spent many years collecting parts, both NOS and I have parted out 3 MK2s and anothjer 2 S-Types. I am interested in selling some parts again, after giving that a break for a few years.
In your opinion, is there any point in advertising a project S-Type for sale? The interest in these cars seems so limited, that I am not sure what direction to go in with this 3.4 car. It is disassembled for painting, but is on rebuilt suspension. I have all of the parts to build a car plus many extras, including most of a very nice black interior, from my accident victim car. I usually tend to build cars and improve them mechanically, with same running gear, for ease of use and performance. Seldom do I start with a numbers matching museum piece!
I will take a look at the forum again. I have not looked at it in a while!
Thanks for any input that you may be able to add.
Garrett

I thought it might be the car previously reported but did not look back to check. Pleased Garrett is doing well.
