David Reilly's Passing

Post by Tom Hoffman »

David's family is sharing that they are holding a "Celebration of Life" honoring him on April, 22nd (his birthday) 2:00 PM at the Blizzard Funeral Home in Wagener, South Carolina. I know that most of us will not be able to attend, but we all will be remembering our great friend David Reilly.

Hi Tom,
Will the service be streamed over one of the many platforms? e.g. Cisco Webex, Zoom, Skype, MS Teams etc?
Kind Regards at this sad time.
Glyn.

Thanks Tom. I would sit up all night to watch it. His reach was broad and I had some delightful e mail exchanges with him.
Kind Regards,

In communicating with David's family, they have asked if anyone would be interested in taking over some of his notes and literature concerning things he had hoped to post on the website and forum? Does anyone have any thoughts,on this?

Also, David's wife is interested in selling David's beautiful little Red S-Type. They would like any suggestions on value, where to sell, etc., etc. His may be the only S-Tpe ever driven by Stirling Moss. Please get the word out.

Thanks everyone

Tom
Will do. The Stirling Moss connection which is easily proven should add value

Stirling's driving of Mercedes 722 at Laguna Seca added huge value. Yes I accept it was a race car.
