Heater control lever knob (BD25857)

Post by LOUPB »

I also need two of the heater knobs, one for the dash control lever and one for the console lever.
I need the escutcheon also on the console for 'Rear Vent' BD25840

If you only have only one, I can get it reproduced and returned to you.

thank you,
Lou

Lou I have some spares in the attic but not the levers They are Bakelite and become brittle with age. I might be able to help with the escutcheon for
the Rear Vent but I will have to go and have a look in the morning and come back to you.

After the heater control knob broke (due to the inaccurate servicemanual!) I have replaced it with a plastic copy (3D printed) which fits perfectly and is indistinguishable from the original. Just to be safe I also made several spares.

Nice one Andrew. 3D printing is the way to go with some of the obsolete parts on our old cars. Where abouts are you based as you do not have a location in your personal details.

Mine was salvageable so I repaired it with some J B Weld, sanded and shaped to size,
