Glove Box Wood

Hello
Can someone possibly refer me to a company that sells replacement glove box wood trim and door? I have the glove box liner but the door and wood surrounding is trashed and I don't think it's original anyway. Preferably company in U.S. I have checked with Madera in California but they only restore existing pieces. XKs Unlimited only sells the liner. Any help would (no pun intended) be appreciated. An alternative would be plans or drawings to fashion one from scratch.

They come up on Ebay from time to time.

Try Saul at British Autowood. He is really a restorer but might have access to some old bits.

I have spares of all the wood apart from the dash top but they are all for right hand drive cars so no good for you. Jose who is/was a moderator on the forum has a lot of spares but not sure if he has wood dash parts. He is in Florida and Tennessee USA so will have LHD parts.

In searching for an intake hose bracket, which I still nave not found, I talked to Jagnut Jaguar Spares, Jack White, (540) 743-4037 in the USA, He has a complete dash with glove box recently refinished. Can't remember exactly what he is asking, but it sounded very reasonable.

In looking for the glove box door and surround used, I would contact Jaguar Heaven in Stockton California. They have a massive recycling yard of only Jaguars and I think Land Rover/Range Rovers. But with used parts you will likely have to refinish it and stain it to match what is in the car now.

And remember that a good artist can paint in grain to improve match. British Autowood in Florida does it all the time and you would not know it had been touched.
