Thinking of fitting a CSI Distributor on my 1968 3.4 s type.
Just undure which one to get. Has anyone fitted one of these.
Thanks

Haven't used one myself but sounds similar to a 123 distributor used by a few members here. Looking at the Moss website it only lists distributors for Mk2's so it might be worth checking the advance curves of this distributor will work with the S Type engine as i don't have any info for Mk2's regarding advance curves.

I think Keith is after the Lucas number for the distributor. Going by the parts number I think it is a 22D6 distributor but there is also the 25D6 so which one should be run on our engine?

22D6 is correct for our engines. 41063A to be precise for the 3.8. with 8 to 1 CR. The Mk2 unit from Moss should do fine. The listing of different Lucas distributors is huge. I have it. See 20 page pdf below.

Just an update. Decided to go for the 123 Tune from Ken Jenkins as they preset the two curves specific to the car. Fitted now and running fine in the garage. Havnt had it on the road yet due to the dreaded salt on the roads.
