Just for clarity.

This is what I call an HT lead conduit:

And this is what I call an HT lead sleeve:

As always...thanks. SNG needs to hire you guys to write instructions for their parts and include with each part bought.

SNG says that his part is for the front windscreen. Parts manual says no. What say you? I think it is for the doors and I have extra.

I just looked at the part on SNGs web site and I can honestly say it does not go anywhere near the front screen on an S type. I never had a rubber piece like this in my kit that I can remember either for the front, back or side windows. I searched through the parts manual at all the rubber pieces that go on the windows and could not find this part number.
Over to Glyn for his insight as he is better at this game than I am.

This glazing rubber is made for re-glazing of the front & rear no draught ventilators. You force the glass with the new glazing rubber into the chrome channel & then trim with a scalpel.

Here is my jig for the front ventilators/quarterlights.

I agree...I could not find it either. Went back to SNG and they said that they made an error. Thanks....finally got all of the remaining rubber parts sorted. Have it all separated and labeled. Door stops, boot lid buffers, washer jets, wiper bezel gasket, windscreens, doors, bonnet buffers, etc.

I remember that. What a pain to put in. I guess we just had a lot left over and SNG could not ID it. Thanks Glyn.

Yes ~ re-glazing the front & rear NDV's after rechroming is a PIA. You force them in with soapy water & they pop out again. We made up jigs that held them while the water dried off. Then they stick tight.

Trim roll chrome finisher. I know where it goes, but not sure if this one is marked correctly. It says it goes on the right side. Is this right? If it is the right, then I am missing the left. If it is the left, then I am missing the right. Which one is it and does somebody know where I can get the one for the side that I am missing. Mine should clean up OK, but would entertain purchasing a nice set. SNG does not have it. Help......

Left is part number: BD.26173

Right is part number: BD.26174

Just looked through my box of chrome parts but do not seem to have this one Joe. I would imagine it gets thrown out with the head lining if you are not careful dismantling the car. If you are stuck give me a shout and in the new year I will contact Rob Burston for you to see if one of his parts cars still have them.
