I have a rare Sunday wedding on the 4th of July so that is a no from me. We have a big JEC Jaguar meet at Torre Abbey in Torquay on the 5th of September though which I am attending.

Thanks for your reply Rob, sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead. I have booked the Bicester event and look forward to seaking out any S Types that turn up, I'll post a pic of any found.

Here are a few photos of yesterdays Jaguar Festival, S Types were very thin on the ground out of 1400 Jaguars (nothing unusual in that!) but I found two others as well as mine. The blue one when speaking to the owner had no knowledge of the Register and was invited to join so lets hope he does, the red one had no owner nearby. I think I spotted an S Type on the exit road at the end of the day put it was gone before I could get to it so there might have been one other.

It was great to get back to a car show after the state the world has been in and not even the odd downpour could dampen the day.

Thanks Richard, I wouldn't call it skills as much as perseverance, I could have taken the S Type's engine out quicker than making a video.

Many thanks for posting the photo's & the video on the register it looked a really good interesting day, just a shame about the weather. Do you know how many Jaguars attended the event.
Unfortunately I was unable to go recovering from surgery, hopefully should be back to full health in a few months.

Hi Dave, there was 1400 cars booked in including 860 E Types. The weather was good once we got there and the moment we left at 4 o'clock the heavens opened!
