S Type totals in the UK
I found this website today which shows how many S Type Jaguars are still on the road in the UK. It breaks it down in to the years but not engine size. http://www.howrareismycar.co.uk/cars/ja ... ?Year=1964
1969 H 1 on the road
1968 G 34 on the road 17 off the road Total 47
1967 E/F 23 on the road 13 off the road Total 36
1966 D 59 on the road 23 off the road Total 82
1965 C 54 on the road 19 off the road Total 73
1964 B 25 on the road 12 off the road Total 37
196 84 Grand Total 275
There is also one car showing it was registered in 1977 so whether this was an import or a stored car that was kept in wraps for ten years before being registered. It would be interesting to find that one and learn the history of it? That is if this web sites information can be believed.
276 cars in the UK is a lot lower than I thought it would be.

Re: S Type totals in the UK
Thanks Cass.
Your Editors came across a similar site (www.howmanyleft.co.uk) in 2014. From their data I estimated that there were about 1006 ‘S’-type still in existence worldwide. You can read the analysis in Newsletter Vol. 7, No. 5 (in the archives).
There are currently 672 ‘S’-types on the Register, 80 in the UK, and Cass has found one more (see ‘S Type in Tavistock Devon UK’ below). Of these 1 is an lhd 3.8-litre, 31 are rhd 3.8-litres, no lhd 3.4 litres and 48 rhd 3.4-litres.
Interesting that more 3.4s have survived in the UK.

Re: S Type totals in the UK
probably because more 3.4 were built and sold in the UK ??
I have noticed at least six 3.8 'S' being parted / crushed in the Florida area alone since 2014.
One of them was recently, a car that came from Sweden to Scotland, then to USA. Left Hand Drive 3.8. I was lucky to get to it before it was picked up by the crusher in February.
