Re: Inboard Rear Calipers

Hi Cass,
After a lot of investigation I thought that it would be interesting to note that I found a SERIES 1 XJ6 pair of rear brake calipers are a direct replacement for my 1968 S type old Dunlop calipers.

Inboard Rear Calipers

HI, I have removed the two Dunlop inboard rear brake calipers from my 1968 S Type as they were locking and finding it very difficult to find replacements or anyone to refurbish them. That is at a reasonable cost. I have been quoted £1300 to refurbish the two. Someone has suggested to me that it migh...

Re: Petrol Guage Adjustment ?

Hi Rob, Many thanks for your quick reply, the problem definitely is the fuel gauge itself. For a change this was a nice quick job to remove it from the panel. Shaking it, the needle moves but still comes to rest midway between 0 and 1/4, I blew into the hole for the panel bulb and some dust came out...

Automatic Saftey Switch - Borg Warner

Hi all, Once again I am back seeking your help and knowledge, I have a problem which started with the 'starter push button' not working, - the engine not turning over. Reversing MIrrors

Hi All, I have just started the finishing touches to my S type renovation and owing to my garage/workshop being at an angle to the drive I do need to fit some reversing mirrors. Before I started the renovation I did purchase smallish mirrors to fit to the quarter lights. Having to keep adjusting the...
