I once many decades ago saw in Monterey California a 3.8S with a Chevrolet 250 cubic inch OHV inline six installed. Looked like it fit right in there. Even the distributor and exhaust manifolds are on the same side as an XK engine.

65 restomod for sale

I have my 65 S type for sale. It is a restoMod with a V6 chevy engine and auto trans, very good to excellent condition, a true daily driver. Currenty in Hemmings, will be listing on "Bring a Trailer" soon. Also, original brake calipers (I installed Cooper) and an extra 4 wire wheels with tires that I could not find a way to balance, so I replaced with modern knock-off wire wheels and tires.
