"When I replaced the front tires a couple of weeks ago I found the both front tires showed the same wear pattern.
For both tires the 1st 1.5” if tread on the inside of the tires were significantly warn. The remaining tread on the tires seemed in good shape."
Are you by any chance running a steering rack rather than the stock steering box? If so, this inside edge front tire wear is a "feature" of converting to a steering rack although there are a number of other advantages to a rack and pinion. I just flip the tires over on the rims when partially worn.
