The Classic car mags are not what they used to be Rob! My preference is what is published as "Thoroughbred & Classic Cars" outside the UK or "Classic Cars" in the UK.

Interesting Glyn but written by a Journalist not an S type owner. I think we could do a better job that is more informative and truthful.

Recent Classic & Sports Car Buyer’s guide: Jaguar S-type. There are a few errors. e.g. Alternators are available today to accept the Dynamo driven PAS pump.
