Here is the Barratts listing for the Handbrake pads & alternative. The website is a pain.

Sorry something went wrong with the link, no they are not the same. Give me a few minutes and I'll sort it out.

Cant find the pads on SNG website- no idea what happened there but they are listed on the David Manners site http://www.jagspares.co.uk/manners/part ... JLM9518%23

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am a bit confused though. 11247 is a front brake pad set. So are the hand brake pads same as the front pads?

Hi Norrena welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new purchase. In answer to your question - yes the pads are available separately from SNG go to https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/Englis ... 4fd3c24d76

Hi everyone and greetings from Finland. I am a happy new owner of a 1965 3.4 S. One of the hand brake pads is missing the friction surface. In the parts manual part 9328 is the pad carrier assembly but I can't find a part number for the pad itself. However in the service manual there are instructions how to change the pads to the carrier. Can the pads be sourced separately or do they only come with the carrier assembly?

Did the pads in the previous post fit?

From what I can see in the Heritage parts book there are no separate replacement pads as it appears the pads come attached to the carriers. The part number appears to be 10125 for the RH inner pad assembly carrier and 9328 for the RH outer pad assembly carrier for the right hand side handbrake and 10127 and 9329 for the left hand side handbrake. This is the same for right hand drive and left hand drive cars. It appears that the part numbers are the same for the S Type, 420, 420G, E Type and XJ6 models that all used the same back subframe assembly and hand brake mechanism.
This is a link to the heritage parts manual which is online and has the part numbers and lists to all the older Jaguar cars.

Not sure on this one as I don't have a 420 parts book. They all look the same Mk2, S Type, E Type etc. but have various early/late part numbers. The best thing is to ring round the usual suspects and ask the question.

I'm having trouble finding new hand brake pads. Barratt doesn't have them. Will the 420 pads fit?
