Probably fitted a hot mill to counteract that.

I can't show my pics after Dynamat because my upholstery man has lost them in his cloud storage. He's trying to get a savvy IT youngster to help him recover them. :)

This is the only thumbnail left on his iPad.

With that amount of insulation in a Mk1 Escort he possibly doubled the weight of the shell.

Just an example. Mk1 Ford Escort 2 door.

Surely not, I think his intention is to show that the company producing the insulation uses it underneat the top.

My dome anti drumming pads have been there since 1965 so no issue there. Maybe you should send a message to Dynamat & ask the valid question & your concerns about adhesion long term.
Many restorers do apply Dynamat to the dome so I suggest you ask Dynamat for preparation instructions if you choose to go there.

You have a post approx mid 66 car with the panel headlining centre. This would mean you would not have to do a very neat & flat job. For those of us with earlier cars where the foam backed Union Cloth headliner is glued to the dome the anti-drumming pads have to be perfectly attached with neat seams taped over or you will have visible lumps in the roof lining.

This is why I did not blast my original pads off of the dome.

It sounds sort of like heavy rain with large droplets! lol.
Lol! :D Yes understood!!

I think I would at least do the floors, tunnel, under rear seat & parcel shelf if you can get around to it.
